Deep-freeze warehouse of a food discounter, Brandenburg, Germany
The conversion of the lighting in the frozen bearing of a large food discounter brought new challenges. HIT ceiling spotlights were installed here in the freshness and frozen warehouse with a consumption of around 450 watts. Cool plants had to cool against the high heat production of the lights, which drove the power broke enormously.
The existing, highly inefficient ceiling lighting should be completely uninstalled and replaced by new, energy-efficient LED lights.
At -25 degrees Celsius room temperature, the old ceiling lights were gradually converted to the latest LED technology. Here light tapes with 4 PIN modules each were mounted on a new rail application system. In addition, a dimming function and a radar movement detector were integrated, which leads to significant energy savings.
Because of the freezing cold, the team could only mount every two-hour. The project was nevertheless implemented in a timely manner and to the fullest satisfaction of the customer.
