Old town Leipzig, Sachsen

A characteristic of the old town of Leipzig are the numerous so -called historical schinkeles.

The city wanted to preserve the historical lights and professionally renovate the lights and have the technology modernized. One of the requirements was the technical conversion to energy-efficient LED technology with a gas light look.

The approximately 360 lights were professionally dismantled by us and broken down into the individual components. Then the
Luminous parts elaborately renovated, defective parts replaced and completely with a new glazing.

All 360 lights were then equipped with our energy-efficient HIS.LUX LED modules in Gaslight optics. An integrated control unit enables dimmm function as well as night shutdown or lowering.

The city center now shines again in a warm white light that is reminiscent of historical gas lighting.
Due to the conversion to LED technology, the city of Leipzig made a significant contribution to energy saving and also saves 50 % CO2.
