Schwerin city palace, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania

Nestled in the beautiful Schwerin lake landscape, Schwerin Castle resembles a real fairytale castle. Once the seat of the Dukes of Mecklenburg, it now houses the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament and the impressive castle museum.

An LED installation kit was to be integrated into several lights, which should not dazzle despite its high brightness and should blend in harmoniously. In addition, the solution should be dimmable and sustainable.

A special digital-analog converter was made for dimming. By converting the analog to a digital signal before the line, dimming signals were digitized by a specially manufactured device. The digitized dimming values were converted to a 1-10 V analog signal in the light, which made it possible to dim reliably.
